This is a brief overview of a return to life drawing as an ever-evolving therapeutic hobby.
The drawings became seamlessly tiling patterns (which wasn’t easy). The patterns went on fabrics, merchandise, cut & sew apparel and accessories.
Seamlessly Tiling Skelly Patterns
Scan the drawings, clean them up, find the best steps and settings to pull them off the paper without losing the original hand-drawn line quality (this wasn’t a one-click magic trick either, more like a 12-click magic trick).
Arranging them to simply tile seamlessly wasn’t as difficult as arranging them in a visually balanced way once the pattern repeated. This required a lot of trial and error, and sometimes somebody had to lose a limb… again.
